We were so excited to have Giuseppe Patriarca, an Italian chef from Isernia, Province of Isernia, Italy, at our London office last week. Giuseppe joined the Moley team to teach the robot how to cook two new recipes, risotto mantecato with parmesan cheese, pear and black truffle, and oriental chicken.

Giuseppe was born in 1960 into a family of generational restaurateurs. The chef is consulting various established and startup restaurants in Italy and around the world, and he works as a freelance personal chef.

“I was fascinated by the technology, and conquered by it once I realized that the robot will be able to reproduce my recipes just as well as I have imaged them!”, said Giuseppe.

Moley Robotics CEO, Mark Oleynik, says that “There is a huge amount of work to be done before the robotic chef can recreate these dishes, but we plan to include them into our digital library of recipes”.

Moley Robotics has created the world’s first fully-automated and integrated intelligent cooking robot. It learns recipes, prepares and cooks them, and clears up after itself.
