July 21st, NYC: Startup Global Event

September 12–16th, London, UK: The 12th International Conference on Intelligent Environments — IE’16

Learn more about a vision of a technological ecosystem adaptive to human needs and active along human intentions. The IE’16 provides an open platform for interactive discussion, sharing expertise and scientific socialization. September 22, NYC: NYC Media Lab Annual Summit

NYC Media Lab’s annual summit is hosted at Columbia University’s Alfred Lerner Hall. Keynotes include Jim Bankoff, Chairman and CEO of Vox Media, and Emily Bell, Founding Director of the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia Journalism School. Workshops will cover machine learning, virtual reality and user experience design and prototyping. The summit also features the largest demo expo of university media and communications projects of the year- more than 100 projects will be on display. Tickets start from $15.

September 26–27th, NYC: O’Reilly Artificial Intelligence Conference

The inaugural O’Reilly Artificial Intelligence Conference explores the real-world opportunities of applied AI on September 26 and 27, 2016, in New York City. Tickets start from $995 for all three days, with various discounts available.

October 12th, San Francisco, USA: Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment
